A specialist area that we undertake is on behalf of Transit Authorities or Principle Contractors who wish to implement a Personal or Group Rapid Transit System (PRT / GRT). We have developed a multi – modal cost estimator for comparing alternate system characteristics. These tools can be applied to PRT, Monorail, Light Rail and Elevated Public Transit systems.

CAL-PLAN Simulation Tools

This specialist area concentrates on modelling the PRT network performance with passenger demand modelling. From this we can derive initial revenue potential against a variety of loading throughout the urban day. This assists potential operators with an initial and economic method to assess the viability of implementing such technology. The tools can be applied to a variety of transit modes.
